Trasie Sands is a Toronto-based writer and new empty-nester. She has spent more than two decades working in web design and social media development and is now returning to her literary roots to pick up where she left off. Trasie has a B.A. in Drama from the University of Windsor where she also studied creative writing and was mentored by Dr. Bruce Meyer, Professor, University Studies, Georgian College and Associate (Fellow) and Visiting Professor, Victoria College in the University of Toronto and the late Dr. Alistair MacLeod, OC FRSC and author of No Great Mischief, winner of the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award in 2001.
